About Me

Zoe's Book Reviews was started in October of 2008 by Zoe Strickland. Zoe is 16, a junior in high school, and lives somewhere in California. She is a self-proclaimed nerd, coffee/tea addict, and night person. Zoe is a Reading Intern for Creston Books, and an intern/assistant to YA author Sarah Ockler.

When not writing reviews- Zoe enjoys reading, watching TV, listening to music, and social networking.

Zoe's favorite TV shows include Psych, Dexter, Doctor Who, Torchwood, and most recently New Girl, Two Broke Girls, and How I Met Your Mother. She has many favorite types of tea, but has recently taken to drinking Super Irish Breakfast Black Tea. She enjoys a lot of different music types, but some of her favorite artists include Motion City Soudtrack, Regina Spektor, Death Cab for Cutie, Adele, Green Day, Mudbison, and various soundtracks from musicals.

Her favorite authors (in no particular order) include Sarah Ockler, Hannah Moskowitz, John Green, Maureen Johnson, Scott Westerfeld, J.K. Rowling, Sarah Dessen, and David Levithan.

In the past, Zoe has been written about in her local newspaper (you can find the article here), helped set up numerous book events, talked to a college class of teachers about online blogging and social networking, and numerous other book/internet related activities.
